Our software development team is based in Sligo and we are looking for an experienced software developer to join our team so we can continue to grow our portfolio of mobile and desktop applications for clinicians and patients.

You should have a solid background in object-oriented software development of desktop, mobile or server applications and be passionate about the art of programming and enjoy working in an agile development environment.

We are Agile, with 3-weekly sprints, daily scrums, use JIRA and equip our team with large iMacs, dual monitors, an abundance of RAM, high speed SSD drives etc. empowering us to create the most awesome software running on Windows, Macs, iPhones, iPads, Android phones & tablets and Amazon Alexa devices.

Health Care Assistant (HCA)

Bournemouth, Dorset

We are looking for a friendly individual to assist in our new medical eye clinic in Bournemouth, where we provide a Community Ophthalmology Service on behalf of the NHS.

Daily duties will include:

  • Meet and greet patients
  • Pre-screening tests
  • Updating patient records

Skills we are looking for:

  • Clinical experience desired, but not essential

Other information:

  • We will provide full training in our head office and flagship clinic, this may require travel and time away from home.

Patient Services Representative

Henley-on-Thames, Oxon

As a Patient Services Representative, you will be responsible for receiving inbound call from patients that have been referred for onward care from their community optician/GP. You will discuss the next step with the patient and decide which NHS clinic will be most convenient, accessible and quickest for the patient’s NHS care.

 

In this role, you will also be required to undertake data entry duties, taking inbound patient referrals and transcribing into our bespoke referral management software, eRefer.

We are looking for friendly, outgoing and enthusiastic people; who can work well under pressure and can offer our patients the highest levels of service.

Duties include:

  • First point of contact for the patient, ensuring they are treated as individuals with courtesy and respect
  • Answering any questions patient’s may have relating to our service, or putting them in contact with the appropriate person
  • Discussing the patient’s choice of care provider and referring their care on to the correct service
  • Ensure that patients have all the relevant details of their future care provider/appointment with a clear understanding of what happens next
  • Providing reassurance to nervous or unsure patients
  • Resolving concerns or complaints at first point of contact where possible
  • Accurate and timely data entry of NHS ophthalmology referrals received from Primary Care within our contracted CCGs
  • Administration of the referral process, ensuring referrals are processed in a timely and accurate manner
  • Scanning documents as requested
  • Managing the daily post requirements
  • Meeting and greeting visitors
  • Ensuring the office is presentable
  • Responsibility for ordering team stationery

Job Type:         Full-time

Hours:               09:00 – 17:30 with an hour lunch break
